An Opportunity for a Changing World

The Western world is demanding secure, reliable sources of tungsten, one of the most strategic metals that is critical to defense, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing and the energy transition.

As governments and industry work to strengthen Western supply chains, Allied Critical Metals is advancing two significant tungsten projects in Portugal to help meet this growing demand.

Through responsible development, ongoing exploration and a near term path toward future production, Allied is focused on building long-term value while helping secure one of the world’s most critical mineral supply chains.

The world needs tungsten. Allied Critical Metals is positioned to deliver.

Why Allied Critical Metals Tungsten Matters

Advancing strategic tungsten projects positioned to strengthen Western supply chains and create long-term shareholder value.

Strategic Western Jurisdiction

Located in Portugal, a stable European Union and NATO jurisdiction, Allied’s Borralha and Vila Verde projects are positioned within a region increasingly focused on strengthening domestic critical-mineral supply chains. With established infrastructure, access to European markets and growing strategic demand for non-Chinese tungsten sources, Portugal provides Allied with a strong Western platform to advance exploration, development and potential production.

Project Of National Interest

Borralha has been recognized by idD Portugal Defence as a strategic initiative of national importance, reflecting the project’s potential contribution to Portugal’s and Europe’s secure supply of tungsten, a critical mineral essential to defence, aerospace and advanced manufacturing. Together with its favourable Environmental Impact Declaration, this recognition strengthens Borralha’s position as a strategically important European tungsten project advancing toward development.

Historic Past Producer

Borralha is a historic past-producing tungsten district with mining activity dating from 1904 to 1985, providing decades of operating history and extensive knowledge of the mineralized system. Historical production generated high-grade wolframite concentrate averaging approximately 66% WO₃, establishing Borralha as an important former European tungsten producer and providing a strong foundation for Allied’s modern exploration and redevelopment strategy.

Near Term Production

Allied is advancing Vila Verde as a potential near-term production opportunity through a phased development strategy designed to establish initial tungsten concentrate production while creating a pathway to larger-scale operations. The project is progressing toward an Experimental Mining License, with plans for an initial 150,000-tonne-per-year operation and potential expansion to 300,000 tonnes annually, providing Allied with a complementary production platform alongside the longer-term growth potential at Borralha.

Borralha Tungsten Project

Allied Critical Metals is advancing Borralha through exploration and development

Located in northern Portugal, the Borralha Tungsten project forms the cornerstone of Allied Critical Metals’ portfolio of strategic tungsten assets. The project encompasses a historically productive tungsten system hosted within highly prospective geology, supported by established infrastructure, skilled local communities and access to European markets.

Allied is advancing Borralha through a systematic, district-scale development strategy that integrates drilling, geological modelling, metallurgical testing and resource expansion. Allied Critical Metals is currently engaged in a fully funded 20,000-metre drilling program designed to expand known mineralization, test priority targets and support the continued advancement of one of the world’s most significant tungsten projects.

Allied Critical Metals Inc. is advancing its 100%-owned Borralha and Vila Verde tungsten projects in northern Portugal, with Borralha representing one of the European Union’s largest undeveloped tungsten resources and benefiting from a favourable Environmental Impact Declaration that supports advancement toward feasibility and development. Vila Verde adds further exploration upside in the same strategic jurisdiction. With tungsten designated a critical raw material by both the United States and European Union, and approximately 87% of global supply and reserves concentrated in China, Russia and North Korea, Allied is positioned to help strengthen secure Western tungsten supply chains.
